Question Of The Day
More than $285,000 was raised in an OCA-wide Appeal for 9/11 victims in September/October 2001.
You can read that story on the OCA website here.
Five months later, $25,000 of this amount was given to the Pentagon relief fund for 9/11 victims in April 2002.
You can read that story on the OCA website here.
Five years, and 10 months later, $90,000 of this amount was dispersed to NYDIS for remaining 9/11 victims in August 2007.
You can read that story on the OCA website here.
Six years later, the question of the day is:
Where is the other $175,000?
You can not read that story on the OCA website,
for on the OCA website today there is no mention of the missing 9/11 funds, nor even of the event itself.
Forget the victims. Forget the appeal. Forget the donors.
Rather, on this day of national rememberance and reflection, the OCA website offers a self-congratulatory story on the man who oversaw the diversion of the 9/11 funds, celebrating the fifth anniversary of his primacy, complete with resplendent vestments, greetings, and photographs.
That you can read here.
